dc.description.abstractMotivation is the act of motivating, kind of psychological energy or tension that sets in motion the human body . The motivation involves feelings of achievement and professional recognition, manifested by means of exercise of the tasks and activities that offer enough challenge and meaning to work, the man is motivated in the workplace for seeking factors as job satisfaction, recognition, compensation finance, among others. It is also a process that governs the behavior choices in personal life, an inner force that sustains and governs all actions being. This paper reports the research done on the topic through a questionnaire applied to maintenance professionals, to obtain data that may lead to an analysis of the factors that influence motivation in the work of professionals in this area . Given this scenario, one can analyze this question in different organizational environments permeating several theories, research and studies on the subject, so that organizations using these resources will achieve maximum results in their being the best way to obtain efficiency in the company . According to the analysis obtained through this work, motivation is a factor of the utmost importance to the performance of the employees, so that they feel motivated to perform their activities with quality and satisfaction, seeking to achieve organizational goals and also personal. To conclude that it is necessary to create efficient motivational activities in companies, based on studies like this, which can bring better results with less waste of subsidies directed to this purpose.
