dc.description.abstractThe present work at the end of the course sought to conduct a state-of-the-art research on the teaching of chemistry based on pedagogical innovations. The aim of the present study was to assess what are the respective methods / techniques and understand how they are applied in the day-to-day in the classroom for the best performance of students and teachers. The applied methodology consisted of searching specialized journals published in the last 10 years in national and international databases (Scielo, Science Direct and CAPES Journals Portal). The elementary and high school teacher has the competence to arouse interest in knowledge in the student community. In chemistry, this fact becomes even more attractive and necessary, since the chemistry classes that make up formulas and equations are considered boring by most students. Thus, it is up to the teacher to be willing to seek innovative methods, with pedagogical bases, that bring students interest in the study. The literature reports several works that make use of games, experimental methods and dynamic means to improve discipline in the curriculum. With that, it was possible to see the tireless search for teachers and the student community to improve the teaching of chemistry. In addition, the present study found that there are a large number of innovative techniques that can be used in order to make chemistry a more attractive discipline according to the current environment.
