Avaliação das propriedades de peças de concreto para pavimentação utilizadas nas vias de passeio das obras do anel viário de Curitiba

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the properties of concrete blocks paving used in sidewalks on public works in the city of Curitiba. So, have been evaluated the properties of geometry, density in the hardened state, compressive strength, tensile strength, water absorption total and water absorption by capillarity, of the four lots that formed the ring road in Curitiba. The results were not satisfactory in accordance with Brazilian standards. Thus, it is concluded that there is the commercialization of this product without proper quality and it is necessary to greater oversight of agencies.
