dc.description.abstractIn the present work, tests were performed for wear analysis using a Rubber wheel tribometer. The tests follow the parameters proposed by ASTM G-65. To evaluate the repeatability of equipment, specimens were made from AISI 1020 quenched and AISI 1045 tempered and annealed. The results showed a good repeatability of the machine as well as a low coefficient of variation data. Was verified that the device needs a better axis alignment and new configuration of dead weight.
