dc.description.abstractThe object of study of this work is the process of writing and rewriting ofan opinion article, on which the objective of this research is established, which is to describe and analyze phenomena that constitute the process of textual production of thisopinion article. For that, the writing has necessarily to be considered as a process, and not as a product. In this way, the dialogism present in the process of writing a text is not erased. This is the perspective of Genetic Criticism, adopted at the Workshop of Reading, Writing,and Rewriting of Opinion Articles that takes place at the Federal University of Technology –Parana (UTFPR), Pato Branco Campus, combining teaching, research,and extension. Teaching and extension,because it serves a group of high school students from a public school, besides also serving toundergraduates of a degree in Portuguese and English Languages and Literature, training them to be teachers, to have experience in teaching. Research,because it performs the recording of the writers' production for the undertaking of studies such as the one presented here. Thus, this research report presents the methodological path undertaken, starting with the production of data in the Workshop, which was recorded by the softwareInputlog (LEIIJTEN; VAN WAES, 2013) and ScreenHunter, as well as cameras capturing the environmentof production, and the selection and analysis criteria applied, following the Vygotskian perspective of analyzing the object in its developmentmovement, on the process of a writerparticipating in the Workshop. The recordings, carried out concurrently with the productions, are analyzed in the light of a certain theoretical framework. Akinnaso (1982),Chafe and Danielwicz (1987), Barros (2000), Biber and Barbieri (2007), and Berber Sardinha, Silva e Teixeira and São Bento Ferreira (2014)are brought to bear on the characteristics of the written text and the oral text. On the writing process, based on Genetic Criticism, Grésillon and Lebrave (1983), Grésillon (2007),and Salles (2008) are brought. To address the relationship between thought and language, Bakhtin (2016), Volochínov (2013; 2017), Lima (2010; 2016) and Vygotski (1991; 2009) are adopted. The topic of argumentationis addressed through Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (2005), Amossy (2011), Maingueneau (2014), and Berber Sardinha (2017). On the specific phenomena to be analyzed, Fávero (2010) is brought up with the discursive topic and Galembeck (2010) with the conversational shift. The analyzes of this research revealed some phenomena present in the writing process, being the discursive topicandthe writingshift,phenomenon established for the beginning of the data comprehension, besides the deleting, the pause as a writing mark, the correction, the substitution, and the copy, as well asa greater concern with referential and stance lexical bundles. It was observed that the more objective the text, the greater the number of topics and shifts tends to besince the activity of summarizing the thought in words is difficult. In addition, there isa rich possibility for analysis involving technology and the theoretical dialogical and genetic framework.
