dc.description.abstract | This work addresses the use of adaptive controllers by means of intelligent tune mechanisms FCM-PID and Fuzzy-PID of an alcoholic fermentation process control, as well as intelligent FCM and Fuzzy controllers applied to a heat exchange process (Heatex) control, both simulated in MatLab®. The integral square error (ISE) and timeweighted absolute error (ITAE), overshoot and settling time results were compared among different techniques used. For this, methodologies based on the system expert knowledge, Fuzzy Cognitive Maps and classical Fuzzy logic were chosen, making controller modeling less dependent on knowledge of the dynamic model of the analyzed processes. | |
