dc.description.abstractThe high competitiveness of the agricultural environment means that the demand for new technologies has an increasing demand, in this context reducing production costs is a constant search of the rural producers. Precision farming, together with its tools, has as its objective both the reduction and the increase in productivity, with sowing being a very important variable to achieve these objectives. In order to achieve this, the design of a mechanical drive mechanism for the disconnection of sowing section has been developed in order to reduce implementation costs as well as to solve the problems encountered in pneumatic drive, which is the most used. Its accomplishment was through the design methodology, with an initial conception (conceptual design), preliminary design where the final forms of the actuator were chosen and the materials needed for its construction were chosen, after that phase the detailing was done (detailed design), with technical drawings and processes that will be used, as well as the estimated costs for the production of a unit, in the and the computational simulation to evaluate the projected structure. The simulation carried out gives a guarantee for the construction of a relatively simple mechanism with the use of the materials chosen, with a reduction of almost 5 times in the cost when compared to the pneumatic actuator, with an estimated saving of approximately 23% in the implementation costs of the system disconnection of sowing for two sections on a seeder.
