dc.description.abstractThis work was as a theme the quantitative survey and qualitative use of music and audiovisual resources as teaching tool within the teaching of Geography. The teaching of Geography allows you to use the various resources the methodological proposals and curriculum of the discipline. The Music as well as the utilization of the most different rhythms, certainly facilitates the process of learning when planned and well employed, because in addition to attractive allows for greater integration with the discipline since the acceptance and the complementation that this feature allows to contents. Currently visible is the great disinterest in most students during the long and boring classes as in Geography teaching that requires students to understand and assimilate. The use of Music as a teaching tool will come in handy when we correlate the content worked aiming at facilitating the understanding of what is being transmitted and transform the lessons dull and apathetic in classes integrative with students participatory and that really reconcile the playful with the teaching. Given the importance of the use of Music within the planning of the discipline of Geography, this work seeks to understand how this feature is being used, if it really has worked within the classroom or if the use of this feature has been feasible. Seek also to understand their contribution to the teaching-learning process, scoring some strategies to use as well as a quantitative survey to some educational establishments, such as the acceptance of the students before the use of the same.
