dc.description.abstractThis work had as thematic science education and how it is currently presented in schools. Thereby the aim of this study was to contribute to the pedagogical practice in science showing the importance of experimental activities for learning. The sample was selected intentionally and composed of elementary school students in a school in the city of Campina da Lagoa-Pr; the final series to evaluate the students' conception of this methodology and its actual occurrence in teaching, through a questionnaire delivered and answered the same. The results showed that for students to experimentation facilitates the process of learning and approaches the teacher; most students attributed the desire of further experiments illustrating the wide acceptance by such activities. From these principles it was concluded that the experimental activities and contribute significantly enrich the process of teaching and learning in science, in addition to promoting good relationships between those involved directly influencing the quality of teaching and the development of the student.
