dc.description.abstract | In recent years the construction industry has shown significant growth rates and their contribution to the economy is significant. But its growth results in environmental degradation. Among the polluting waste stands out as waste wood from construction. Characterized as a non- recyclable material is used until they reach their useful life, and then be destined for landfills or used in combustion potteries. Among the gases generated, stands out carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Within this scenario, this paper studies the optimal way to manage wood waste originating from construction in order to meet current legislation in the country and the criteria for LEED and AQUA. Furthermore, the aim is also to analyze the gases generated in the combustion of waste equipment Gas Alert and Gilianlowflowsampler. When analyzed joint Resolution No. 054 / 06 of SEMA, the results were satisfactory. It may be noted that the allocation of wood for burning in pottery becomes a viable option within the current legislation and may become a favorable point for obtaining LEED
certifications and AQUA. | |
