dc.description.abstractThe technology transfer between countries is a great relevance issue. In this context is the Brazilian dairy chain, once that the advance of the technologies for “in nature milk” production, highlights it as one of the bests of the word. The present work studies the viability of the implantation of a school-plant with French technology transfer that will educate master cheese makers on Castro region, Paraná State. An applied, exploratory and descriptive research was made by the inductive method, that from the point of view of the approach of the problem it characterizes itself as qualitative. The technical procedure carried out was a data raising trough the analyses of primary and secondary documents that based the case study. The data collect was carried out by 16 (sixteen) semi-structured interviews and direct observation with all the ones involved on the process. The main goal of the research was verify the workability of the sustainable development, with technology transfer, from Castro County. To achieve this goal it was necessary to raise all the economics potentials of the region as well as recognize the organizational structure of cheese production in France and diagnose among the local actors of Castro County the expectations for value aggregation to the “in nature milk”. The necessary steps for the project to be workable were described in a systematic away and according to the results of the research.
