Análise de iluminância em bibliotecas Faróis do Saber na cidade de Curitiba

Abstract

The illuminance is an essential item for the proper functioning of any environment. This paper analyzes the illuminance of five libraries "Faróis do Saber" of Curitiba / PR and obtained values are compared with the standards recommended by ABNT NBR ISO / CIE 8995-1: 2013 and NBR 5413, current regulations regarding lighting, and also for comparison with the values obtained by Ladeia et al. (2006), in order to propose a model of an environment with more comfort and conducive for study and reading and thus increase the interest of the community. The methodology of this work is also based on the work of Ladeia et al. (2006) and recommendations by NBR 5413. In measurements it was found that the libraries are not in accordance with the standards prescribed for these environments, with differences between one libraries and another. After measurement it is proposed possible changes for improving the illuminance of these libraries.
