In this study, the structure of Procobaja 2016 BAJA SAE team, applying modal analysis for free-free condition to obtain the natural frequencies of the current structure and modified structures based on the first one. It has been the objective of the chassis improvement to enhance its stiffness primarily with increasing the moment of inertia of the tubes present in this. The first step of this work was the development of the chassis, to perform the finite element method (FEM) on ANSYS Mechanical. which was made free-free modal analysis to analyze the natural frequencies and vibration modes. With the results, changes were made in the geometry of the structure in order to increase its natural frequency.
