Biodeterioraçao e a durabilidade da madeira: estudo de aspectos construtivos em Campo Mourão-PR

Abstract

Given the current scenario of the construction and timber production potential in Brazil, the study was conducted in order to mainly check the timber exposure conditions and how it interferes with their durability as a material for construction, verifying the effects of biodeterioration and relating with the constructive aspects employees in each work. After five technical visits carried out in different places of the city of Campo Mourao, osresultados indicated that much of the damage occurred in wooden parts are caused by implementation failures and / or project, that moisture is the main factor that induces biodeterioration and proper maintenance could provide a longer service life of wood construction.
