dc.description.abstractThis work is about Quality of Life at Work: a study on pleasure and suffer, in a multinational company, in Ponta Grossa city, Paraná state. The general objective was to verify the influence of pleasure and suffering experiences at work in the quality of life of the collaborators in the researched sector. The specific objectives were: to investigate how pleasure and suffering experiences occur to the collaborators of the studied sector; to evaluate the quality of life of these collaborators; to establish indicators of pleasure and suffering experiences and quality of life of these collaborators. The company was selected for this research due to attributes like: promoting technological innovations in its processes and equipments in order to achieve better security to its collaborators; being a company willingly open to the dialogue and to academic investigation; it does not have a quality of life program; being a multinational company spread all over the national territory. It is an exploratory research, with a qualitative approach, whose technical procedure was the case study. The sample was composed by workers of a food company and for it was used accessibility procedure, with a population of 50 workers and a sample of 46 answers for WHOQOL-Bref. It was not possible evaluate 04 question forms because they were not totally answered and 34 Work and Sickness Risks due to vacation on the researched sector. Data collect were done with the WHOQOL-Bref tool, abbreviated version of assessment scale of Quality of Life and Work and Sickness Risks Inventory. From then on, it was built the analyses, which revealed that Pleasure and Suffering Experiences occur to all collaborators researched, with a higher grade for pleasure and showing that collaborators Quality of Life was considered unsatisfactory.
