dc.description.abstract | Among the various types of electronic games, MMORPG games have a differentiated structure, allowing items exchange between players. Players get virtual goods, which are used within the game to make more enjoyable the time spent by the player in the virtual environment. These digital items are part of a category of products called 'Virtual Goods', which consist in products that only exist in a virtual environment. The valuation of items in a virtual plane varies according to their importance to the players, and goods that have more utility to the player tend to cost more. Each game presents a different trading system, but they still have elements in common. Through a survey of ten games we spotted characteristics in common such as, policy of payments and trading systems. Through a study of agents, we seek to study the application of a model by 'model society of agents' for electronic games. | |
