dc.description.abstractTransformers are electrical equipment widely used for converting voltage levels. The elaboration of projects for transformers with an unconventional ferromagnetic core is important, as it contributes to the construction of transformers with better performance. This work aimed to develop an algorithm for the design of a single-phase transformer with an LL core, which is capable of converting a voltage level of 220 V into a voltage of 110 V, supporting a current of 1 A in its secondary winding. A prototype was built and tests were carried out to verify its behavior and it was verified that the transformer's behavior is in accordance with what was designed.
