dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the development of a converter it boost two levels operating in closed loop. This converter has some advantages compared to the inverter conventional boost. In applications where the primary source comes from photovoltaics, the voltage gain should be higher. Initially it was shown the main drive characteristics and therefore detailed steps of operation with the equation that it is necessary to design the drive to the desired operating point. The mathematical modeling has raised the key role to know the dynamics of the converter output voltage boost two open loop levels to check the response of the main characteristics and apply the best strategy control. The systems in open and closed loop will be simulated with the aid software (PSIM) to verify viewed theoretically system responses and compare the results to be found in the practical implementation of the converter prototype.It is concluded that the methodology used to develop analysis and modeling converter was of paramount importance to continue the work. And from the model it was possible to design the PID controller and perform the converter loop closure at the desired operating point.
