dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to reflect on the importance and necessity of nutritional assessment reconciled with the school, and methods and techniques used for the prevention of childhood obesity and the onset of diseases correlated. Because obese children tend to become obese adults. According to WHO, if a child is obese at age 6 has a 25% chance of being an obese adult. If your child is obese at age 12 a have 75% chance of being an obese adult. Obesity has immediate adverse effects on health and also in the long term, increasing the risk of other diseases correlated. So in this sense, with the implementation of this research, we verified the importance of including studies on obesity early in schools to detect potential health problems as early as possible and suggest pedagogical alternatives that may assist in promoting the welfare child and young person.
