dc.description.abstract | This document presents a theoretical basis on smart grid. In this context it is discussed about smart power plug as a possible solution to reduce the waste in the consumption of electric energy. A theoretical basis was presented on the measurement of electric energy and on the components and electrical circuits used in this work. Finally, it is shown the development of na electric power energy consumption meter for application in smart power plugs, the results obtained with this project and the conclusion about the meter developed. | |
