Abstract

For many centuries, the childhood was completely ignored and as there was no difference in lifestyles between children and adults, the needs and peculiarities of the child's wolrd was insignificante. From the age of five, the child was dressed as minituatures of adults and even before that there were no gender identifications, boys and girls used to dress the same way.The outfits that were destined to children during past centuries enabled them to play and move freely, besides creating a great lack of confort for the litlle ones. Playing is the mais activity through childhood, the comunication during such time leads them to develope imagination and also importante abilities for their development. Ever since the ergonomic approach it is understood that the dressing of the child should be fitable and people who are directly or indirectly influenced by the products. Therefore the use of technological fabrics colaborates to the well being of the child and makes it easier for the mothers cleanliness and upkeep. , The goal of this paper is to develop a colection of products that aim fashion among children from 2 to 6 years, to fulfill the practical needs, esthetic and simbolic of the childhood world and also to help them move freely with a better quality of life.
