Análise de dados agrícolas, industriais e econômicos do estado do Paraná baseado na análise de Cluster e de componentes principais

Abstract

The agricultural activity is one of the most representative in the economy of the state of Paraná, and thus, this research has the objective of identifying the agricultural development and the existing relationships among the indicators through the application of analysis of the main components and cluster. For the development of this research, the 399 municipalities in the state of Paraná were investigated as well as six indicators, such as livestock and agriculture, GDP per capita, and the number of agroindustrial establishments. The procedures were developed using Action Stat® software assistance. In the analysis of clusters, six clusters were obtained, and group two and six were defined as the best clusters, groups one and four, worst and groups three and five intermediate groups. In the analysis of main components, it was necessary in all groups to use the first four components to have an explanation rate of more than 80%. Within the groups were obtained the variables most related to the main components and the municipalities that stood out the most in the agricultural development explained by the selected variables.
