Análise preliminar de riscos em uma cooperativa de triagem de recicláveis

Abstract

The present work has as the main objective is to determine the risks to which workers are exposed during the process of sorting and baling recyclable materials in a sorting cooperative in the southern region of Brazil. The data were obtained by visiting, questioning the workers and direct observation of the activities developed in the cooperative. The main risks were contamination and cuts through perforating-cutting materials, manual lifting of the load and operation of the baler and forklift. A qualitative risk analysis was performed using the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA). After the identification of the risks, recommendations were proposed for their reduction or elimination, and a risk map of the area was developed. In this way, it has been realized that the control or elimination of risks can be solved by training in the handling of material and machinery and the use of adequate personal protective equipment.
