Centro-pop: a implantação nos municipios: caso de Sorocaba (SP)

Abstract

The work of social workers include all kind of assistance to homeless persons by other models of social security , where the individual by several factors is outside the context of society , in particular the case where the homeless . This work comes through literature review and informal interviews to answer what are the needs that lead to a municipality to deploy a desired Centre - Pop in your territory, and what the basic requirements that the municipality should have to do so. Besides the need for a dissertation on the subject, this work also aims to clarify the frequently asked questions on the topic. The work will be based at Centro-pop of Sorocaba, in the form of research, papers in the Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome, and informal interviews with its members, in particular welfare of the institution. So expect this work to help to improve both with regard to the infrastructure of cities , as well as quality of life , and obviously interested in the subject to clarify the advantages and requirements needed, both in matters of finance and infrastructure, such as public something and staff . This work can be seen that where the center is deployed - pop tends to break through the standard of living of the homeless, but there are several difficulties due to problems in the profile of these residents, where most is user and need treatment carefully, never requiring change, but advising and directing them.
