This text has the objective of presenting an hydrological modelling of Tibagi River Basin, located in Paraná State, Brazil, for the period of 1st June 2017 to 20th June 2017. The modelling consisted in a simulation of hydrographs by using HEC-HMS software developed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. To delimitate the basin and the subbasins, as well as, to determine the soil characteristics and uses, the software ArcGIS 10.1 was used and, after geoprocessing, values of soil characterization and Lag Time were determined. The SCS Curve Number method was used to estimate the amount of soil infiltration. To determine the baseflow the recession method was used and the SCS Unit Hydrograph was applied to compute the runoff in the watershed. Also, data of precipitation and flow were obtained from rain and flow gaging stations along the basin. The modeled hydrographs were calibrated and compared with the observed hydrographs. The modelling performance was evaluated by statistical indices. After the calibration of the parameters, the comparation between simulated and observed hydrograms presented a very good performance to all the sub-basins according to the classification used in the text. The average tendency of the simulated values to be larger or smaller than their observed ones variated from -3.03% to 7.42%, with approximated variations of 6% to 8% when comparing maximum observed flows and maximum calibrated flows. The best results were presented in the sub-basins in the center of the watershed.
