| dc.description.abstract | This project presents some of the characteristics of BIM Technology that should be applied in the field of architectural modeling and structural analysis, being applied to structural masonry as object of study. An eight-story residential building was modeled with Autodesk Revit software. And then imported into Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional Software so that the efforts were entered into the structure and then a structural analysis. Finally, it allowed to visualize the global displacements by force of the wind, the normal stresses of compression and traction, the bending moments caused in the structure, besides a brief analysis on the quantitative of materials. | |
