dc.description.abstractThe organizational environment requires strategic practices for innovative creation. The stimulation to the idea generation through the Suggestion Program enables the organizations to create new products, processes and services. However, the literature points the lack of organizational efforts to manage the Program when it is faced few suggestions. This study aims to identify a number of elements that stimulate ideas generation from employees to keep a steady and continuous flow of new ideas in Organizational Suggestion Programs directed to innovation. To attempt this purpose, the research was conducted in two stages: in the first stage it was sent questionnaires, via web, to 48 large companies in the estate of Parana, according to FIEP/2009. From the electronic questionnaires sent, 21 returned totally filled in. For the second stage, it was adopted the criteria of accessibility, resulting in 11 interviews with the persons in charge of Suggestion’s Programs. The option to use above instruments, questionnaire and interview, allow the gathering subsidies to identify the elements that answer the problem proposed in this study. The main elements found in the survey were on the importance of the mission and values of the organization be clearly stated and known to all; the permission and the encouragement to experimentation and freedom; the investment on training for professional and personal development; the implementing policy of the profit distribution; the promotion of techniques for generating and wide dissemination them. This set of elements is able to stimulate the ideas generation for managing innovation on organizations.
