Gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos em uma empresa situada no município de Foz do Iguaçu/PR

Abstract

The growing environmental impact of human activities is essential the development and implementation of plans and projects that contribute to the mitigation of adverse effects caused by the generators of waste activities. The plan of solid waste management - SWMP is a strategic tool that has become essential after force of the National Solid Waste Policy - PNRS, established by Law No. 12,305 of 02 August 2010. In this way the SWMP must be prepared in compliance with current environmental legislation on the waste generating activities, aiming to achieve an appropriate model of solid waste management. The generation of solid waste has increased in recent years due to the growth of societies and consequently the way of life based mainly on consumption, and from the neoliberal capitalist system, there was a breakthrough in technology and development of industries and trade in the world. The theme set for the work of the research took into account the problems found in the environmentally friendly operation of the waste generated in a private company in the city of Foz do Iguaçu / PR, which follows the trade activity branch of non-perishable food products, where a technical inspection of the project was carried out to check the environmental conditions for further elaboration of the Plan, which aims to raise awareness lecture of employees, type of enterprises and adoption of measures for proper segregation, environmentally friendly packaging and disposal of solid waste.
