dc.description.abstractThroughout history, the government - the State - was submitted to a position of inertness to social needs, giving up exclusivity at starring position on public policies, developing partnerships with civil society. This deterioration in the public sector reflects on its credibility with the population, conditioned by the effectiveness of the models proposed by private - the market, that begins to demand quality in public service delivery. In this scenario, stands out the people management strategy, that is capable of intervening in the main organizational resource: people, who, motivated, allow to create real value in attending the public sector. Bases on the above considerations, this article aims to identify the people management strategy that reflect the quality of service provided by municipal servants from Paranavaí - PR. This study is characterized as exploratory and qualitative, using field research, and tried to raise in the human resources sector among public servants and documents relevant to the existence of these strategies and their applicability, coming accross random actions, which duly planned could be measured and established targets and indicators needed for a more precise analysis regarding the satisfaction of servants government employees.
