dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work was to thematize the science teaching in a museum space considering a bibliography research about the evolution of the Brazilians Science Museums, their importance, the factors that influence learning in them, emphasizing Museum's Educators as responsible mediators for contributing with teaching and learning outside the classroom. This study in question was conducted at the "Museu da Ciência de São Carlos Prof. Mario Tolentino", where the object of investigation was the work of the Museum's Educators. Observation questionnaires were applied and taken made in loco at the institution. It was concluded that the staff of the Museum develops an essential work that contributes considerably to the teaching learning in this educational space and scientific propagation to society through their experiences and knowledge in education.
