A relação entre arquitetura da informação e experiência do usuário sob a ótica dos pesquisadores da ciência da informação brasileira

Abstract

Objective: To identify the relationship between Information Architecture and User Experience, in order to verify how these two areas intersect from the perspective of Brazilian researchers in the field of Information Science through academic-scientific production indexed in the Reference Database in Information Science and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations. Methods: The research corpus was built through a systematic literature review, supported by a protocol, with qualitative analysis of the results found. Results: As a result, 9 works were identified that deal with the theme, of which only 4 relate Information Architecture and User Experience, and only 1 of them does so objectively. Conclusions: In this way, even though studies of this nature are incipient, based on the data analyzed, it is possible to affirm that, when the construction project of a digital environment is systematized from the theoretical and practical apparatus of Information Architecture together with the objective qualities and subjectiveaspects of the User Experience, the greater the efficiency and effectiveness of use, whose benefits will be perceptible to users, information environments and their maintainers.
