Reflexões sobre política de informação em instituições acadêmicas: a via verde em foco

Abstract

This work aims to identify the explicit information policies in academic institutional repositories and to analyze their range according to the characteristics of accessibility to the scientific production presented at the Green Road. For so, it has made use of the literature to define concepts presented in the field in order to ground the discussion and of ROARMAP to identify the repositories which policies were studied. In this context, it was possible to verify that most of the institutional repositories analyzed still lack of formal and explicit policies, fact that points out to the necessity of establishing them. The research also showed that the policies analyzed were structured on theoretical recommendations in a way that they can serve as the basis for the establishment of policies in congeneric institutions.
