Implantação de ferramenta para gerenciamento e monitoramento na rede da Prefeitura Municipal de Pato Branco

Abstract

Computer networks are present in the daily life of every company, entity or medium of communication at the present time. The direct impact on business and the development of societies certainly requires that these networks perform their functions and achieve their goals. In order to ensure a service that is always active, reliable and available for use, it was necessary to deploy a tool to manage and monitor the network. This work deals with the implementation of a tool for management and monitoring in the internal network of the Pato Branco City Hall. Through the use of the SNMP protocol it is possible to manage several types of devices, essential for public agencies that have devices from several manufacturers in most cases. With the use of The Dude tool the network management team can act by checking for problems and then solving them, mitigating or ending negative effects on the network.
