Estudo paramétrico de forças horizontais em tubulões curtos

Abstract

With the development of society and the need for more and more complex constructions, we saw the urgency of considerations in the analyzes that cater to special uses such as off-shore structures, bridges, among others. Thus, the present work deals with the study of deep foundations, more specifically of the short stakes under the action of horizontal forces with the intention to show the behavior of this type of foundation in relation to the most important parameters for the analysis of the efforts, these will be fundamental for the structural dimensioning of the foundation element. In this monograph the procedures of analytical calculation for the study of the laterally loaded piles were presented, emphasizing the Russo method for non cohesive soils and Titze for cohesive soil. The results were compared with those obtained through analysis with Robot software through two modeling strategies. In analyzing the results obtained from the calculations and the modeling, it was found that the soil properties, as well as the applied force magnitude, is what dictates the behavior of the stake for the dimensioning of a shaft under the horizontal force, these being the parameters that more attention should be paid when dimensioning a structure for this type of loading.
