Projeto de trocador de calor compacto para um motor stirling

Abstract

This undergraduate thesis developed a heat exchanger type tube bundle with cross-flow drainage. The purpose of this heat exchanger is to be part of a Stirling motor developed by Crestani (2016). The project provides to the motor a closed cycle for the cooling system, improving its utilization into a simpler and stronger way. It is able to be used in several applications. The heat exchanger construction required calculation and the selection of the material used in its construction. The results obtained theoretically and experimentally were compared. There were determined the coefficient of real safety for the heat exchanger, and the theoretical difference in relation to the dimensioning for experimental results. All the calculations were performed assuming a permanent operation, where no temperature variation is considered along the time.
