dc.description.abstractThe implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) takes place both internationally and nationally and it aims the optimization of construction information management in the life cycle of projects. For a successful deployment, it is necessary to review work processes and the contribution of involved players in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction). This research intends to evaluate the usage of this technology in Brazilian case and to present three cases in architecture offices from Curitiba that deployed BIM for project development. It also brings an analisys of the technology needs, its applications and adaptations to each company profile. Finally, it was possible to analyze this information and check how well the deployment of the technology occurred in the cases.
