dc.description.abstract | This work presents a critical approach to the process of software customization in relation to the strategic management of companies, aiming to understand how these concepts relate and which is the best approach to the process, during the development are explained concepts related to information technology, such as Hardware and software, and also how the software is distributed and sold. Concepts related to strategic management, such as strategy, competitive advantage and strategic administration process, are also discussed. In addition, the main ways of personalizing the software are demonstrated, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Fit and what results they can bring. We also carried out a case study of a company that used one of the methods of software customization, the purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effects of this process in a real scenario. As a conclusion is provided a view of the potential for generating advantage that the customization process can bring. | |
