dc.description.abstractDuring the industrialization, a very intense cycle of degradation of the environment started. For years the planet has been explored without any environmental awareness. Due to this process, world authorities have begun to worry about the future of the planet and to demand to the industries investments related to the sustainability. Against this background, the automotive sector had to adapt to this new production cycle. Alternatives to cease or lessen the damage to the atmosphere, such as Eco Mode and Eco-Scoring, were developed using the resources available through the advances of technology to deliver more attractive products to the new generation of customers. In order to identify which parameters are adjusted during driving in Eco-mode and to prove the coherence between the driving mode and the score obtained through the Eco-Scoring, a study was elaborated on the working principle of those resources that can contribute, not only with fuel economy, but with the a greater cause, which is the environmental sustainability.
