dc.description.abstractThis paper seeks to identify actions that lead to increased performance in information technology project management within the public sector. We chose to study the area of software development because it's teams activities requires creativity, problem solving and concentration. Based on literature review, firstly we defined the factors that influence the performance of teams and then we established the concept of a high performance team. From the investigation of the established concept incidence, recommendations are made for actions that can raise the performance of project management teams, taking into account the characteristics of the public sector.
