dc.description.abstract	The main objective of this work is to study the concepts of linear algebra and use it for recognition of quadrics. First we recall the basic concepts of linear algebra as vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors as well as relationships between them. Later we deal with the inner product vector spaces. Finally, we introduce the concept of bilinear forms and the particular case of quadratic forms, and use the theory to study the recognition of quadrics.
