dc.description.abstractThe present work aims to present some discussions about the Special Education student, who has learning characteristics considered above average, such as those with high skills and giftedness. In this sense, the work in question will highlight, in general, the historical and legal aspects, focused on the education of students with high skills, and giftedness in the last decades, punctuating the relevant indications of being known by the teacher of regular education, in the feeling of identifying these students, highlighting the role of the school as an inclusive environment, in their teaching and learning process. Thus, for a better understanding of the subject, this study adopts a bibliographic methodology, through books, scientific articles, theses, journals, dissertations and monographs, which in turn, address information related to student learning with high skills and giftedness in special education.
