The gas-liquid biphasic flows are common in the oil and gas, nuclear and chemical industries. The flow patterns are modified as there is a variation of the operating conditions such as the dimensions of the pipes, physical properties of the fluids and the flows of the phases. For example, in petroleum manufacture, the most frequent pattern would be gaps, in which there is a gaseous region (bubbles with stretching) and a continuous region of liquid, better known as a region of piston. In this work an experimental study was developed to analyze the biphasic flow in a balance cell. For the construction of this cell, it was necessary drawing made in CAD (computer aided design), to print it was used filaments PLA in 3D printer. Two acrylic tubes were used, with a 21 mm internal diameter of 1 meter in length and 46 mm in internal diameter and 1 meter in length, positioned horizontally, with slight changes of direction. The high-resolution camera was positioned in the region of interest, and the lighting was adjusted so that the object of study could be clearly visualized and then the mechanism could be switched on. For the tests two fluids, water and air were used, and the varied parameters were the speed that the tube moved and the volume of water. The tests were carried out in the vibration laboratory of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, in Guarapuava. With the results, it was possible to analyze the vacuum / liquid fraction and the velocity of the bubble. In this context, in the present work an experimental study of the biphasic flow liquid-gas acrylic tube with slight change of inclination was developed. For the uncertainties, an error analysis was performed.
