Abstract

It was observed that after the death time of a person, by some unnatural causes, the coloration of the carcass of the teeth has assumed a pink color (Pink Teeth) and it was found that this occurred due to a leakage of blood in the dentin. The main objective is to develop a device that will make the dental post mortem examination, in which the color of the tooth will be the object of study. Tests are conducted thoroughly, with the priority of searching the simplest alternatives to meet the required specifications. Thus, the method has the steps of technology study, prototype construction, engineering and construction improvements of the end system. The development of this product was based on the implementation of two systems, one mobile, which will be handled by the coroner and makes the wireless transmission of data obtained by the color sensor and other fixed, receiving the information from the mobile device, processes the data and returns a diagnosis using a software that will assist in the identification and study of the possible cause of death. Thus, as a result, the product will be a tool to aid in studying and solving cases for forensic criminology, through the analysis of information obtained.
