Equipamento de proteção contra capotamento: uma melhoria baseada na engenharia de segurança

Abstract

The rollover accident is considered to be the most frequent accident in wheeled agricultural tractors and also entails the greatest material damage and the operator. Roll-over protection structures (EPCC) are safety devices whose purpose is to provide operator safety. This study will enable the knowledge of the necessary adaptations and the necessary procedure for the implementation of this system, characterizing as an improvement based on projects that aim at safety. Through the use of this study, it is expected that technology and productivity will be side by side with safe operation, and due to the low cost of implementation, will be available to all agricultural producers, improving working conditions and promoting the economic and social evolution of population living in the countryside.
