This work presents the development of a wireless physiological parameters monitoring system for diagnosis support and personal use. The system performs the measurement of blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate. Different measurement methods found in literature are presented and discussed. Based on them, it was defined the most appropriate technique for the measurement of such parameters. The system comprises two plethysmographic sensors and a device for signal conditioning, acquisition, data processing and transmission via Bluetooth technology to a smartphone. The received data is presented to the user by means of an Android application installed on the smartphone. System's test benches were performed and the parameters were measured for healthy volunteers. The results indicate the relationship between PWV and blood pressure method. Based on these findings, it is discussed the pros and cons of continuous monitoring for each measured parameters.
