Análise fílmica: a representação da mulher como personagem no cinema

Abstract

This research presents data on the creation of a film analysis methodology with a focus on female representation in movies. Through analytical concepts of photography and psychology, the research seeks aspects of the film that portray the female image, and how they do it. This methodology is created from existing analysis methodologies, and using studies of the representation of women in the media as a reference. In validating the methodology, some films are analyzed using it as a basis, and the expected result is a new way of analyzing films with a more critical look at the representation of women in the media, and the role of the designer as creator and reproducer of the image of the woman.
