dc.description.abstractThe present work has the purpose of presenting a computational tool developed in Matlab software. A bibliographical review was made of the physical concepts that involve the calculation of lighting, national and international standards and through the most common methodologies of lighting calculation presented in the literature. For the development of the tool, it was made use of the GUIDE tool of the Matlab software, where event-oriented programming was used. The results of the work proved to be effective, fulfilling the pre-determined objectives and proving to be a great tool to assist lighting designers.
