dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to address the incorporation of Chita fabric to the world of current fashion, in a way that the paradigm that this kind of fabric should be used only for decoration, crafts or parties could be review. Enabling it to be viewed from other angles, as its peculiar aesthetic characteristic play of colors and especially appreciates it as an object of national culture. Also it is a low cost market fabric becoming a worthy exploitable possibility of good market results when used along with other fabrics in a fashion collection. For this was explored its history, concepts and through a sound methodology built through marketing tools such as collaborative design, VALS and intuitive design. Created a brand whose purpose is to draw up feasible and accessible parts, and as the main material Chita. It is hoped that this work elucidate consumers about Chita value both aesthetically and culturally. Therefore the fashion market would receive a product with a brazilian face, from a raw material of low cost and possibly valued from the design of interference.
