Impacto financeiro na previdência social no Paraná em 2011 devido à concessão de benefícios acidentários

Abstract

This paper tried to present the quantity of labor accidents and their financial impact on Social Security in the state of Paraná in 2011 in 83 divisions of CNAE. Moreover, a special comparison of the amount of accidents between the construction industry and others, since this sector has the major number of labor accidents. The survey was conducted using data from the Ministry of Social Security, published annually in the Labor Accident Statistical Yearbook and Social Security Statistical Yearbook. These Yearbooks present data on accidents at work, the sectors of economic activities and geographical location of occurrence of events, and from these comparative data across economic sectors were performed. Were emphasized 10 sectors of divisions of CNAE that together represented 63.2 % of labor accident benefits granted in Paraná in 2011. These 10 sectors were chosen based on the criteria of highest total number of labor accidents in the year and major incidence of accidents over the same period. From the information obtained in the results, was identified that the Post Office is the sector with the highest incidence of labor accidents and the Trade, Wholesale and Retail has greater public spending on the grant of accident benefits. It was also identified that the construction industry does not have a greater incidence of accidents at work under the conditions studied.
