dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this research is to identify the main cause of impact on asset availability. It is of fundamental importance to understand the causes of impact on asset availability, due to the great impact that it generates to stop trains and the consequent impact on production. The FEMEA method was used to identify and deal with the problems through the quality tools of “Pareto Diagram”, “GUT matrix”, “Brainstorming”, “Ishikawa diagram”, “5 Why technique”.The result of this work is to propose actions to reduce the number of faults related to failures.
